The "THUNDERBIRD" collection has been inspired by a native American legend. Each dress symbolises a bird. Colors have been inspired by Miami in the 90's. Fabrics and prints have been developped by and for Heimstone during Alix petit's travel around the world, and her interpretation of the legend. Summer 2013 is a happy colorfull collection, a bit sporty but definetly elegant, feminine and rock! The LAKOTA dress has been inspired by vulture. The pleats and the different layers of fabrics and leathers reminds of the feathers layers. The dress has been made in differnt fabrics and leathers: a printed silk with birds drawn with water colors, a pale green stretch cotton lace and some black light lamb. It's a tank top dress, with a sligt opening on the front leg. The front is longer than the back and in a peak shape. The neckline and harmholes are surrounded by flat back cords. This dress is perfect for the night. Total lenght for a size 36: 89 cm Composition for front: 100% silk, 100% lamb, 89% polyamide, 8%elasthanne, 3% viscose.
